She was light
She was light. She was music. She was the wind dancing through the trees, making waves in the sea. She would glide up a mountain watch the sunset with the sky painted in red and orange the color bleeding on the glistening white snow beneath it. She was a garden. She lived in the petals of flowers and ruffled through the wet grass, she would dance around with squirrels and fly above with the sparrows. She was beautiful. She was kind. She poured her soul and breathed life into everything around her. She had a heart as big as the ocean and she didn’t mind giving it out to those who lacked it. She was like water, she would flow through the tiniest openings into the hearts of people, and she could smooth out the blisters like water hitting on a rock. She was hope. She made me believe bad times don’t last and that giving up was never an option. But I saw her break. Like a tornado amidst the calm ocean.
